Marcus Alexander, “Advances in RNA Biology and Implications for Biosocial Research”
Talk summary: Drawing on his past research ranging from self-splicing RNA catalysts to RNA-induced stem cell engineering, Marcus Alexander will present an overview of recent discoveries in post-transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of the human genome with implications to social networks and other biosocial research. Prior to starting research with the Human Nature Lab, Marcus trained at Yale, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford at the intersection of biological and social sciences.
