Do you want to set up a personal website? Want to also have your own domain name? If you want to have an online presence, whether to blog, to have an interactive, dynamic, online CV,  or even just to say something about yourself, to make a personal statement, or do something fantastically useless (people are paying to host these websites), James will walk us through the entire process from start to finish using Wordpress. If you want to take it for a test run, you can simply use a free wordpress domain (i.e. yourdomainname.wordpress.com), but if you want to take the plunge, James will also walk through how to register your own domain name (i.e. yourdomainname.com, yourdomainname.cool, etc.) with your very own private Wordpress. We’ll take a quick look at Wordpress themes, generating content (so you have a few pages to get started), and maybe even customizing source code!
